300 Judges & Lawyers say we need to take in more refugees.

It must be nice to be sitting in your huge houses in parts of Britain that will never see a refugee but you are not the ones who will have to suffer when your local infra structure is stretched to breaking point.
They should keep out of things like this that will never affect them.

Also the assumption by them, the media / headlines and the public is that because they are judges and lawyers this carries weight and authority.

A manageable ammount of GENUINE refugees is fine.
What I don't accept is that just because they are judges and lawyers it makes them an authority on this topic or makes their views anymore valid or credible than say 300 hairdressers.

The rule of law isn't the same as the rule of lawyers, which is unfortunately what we are oppressed by.

Can we next import a load of 3rd world judges and lawyers who are prepared to work for a third of the incumbent's salary and just blame the free market?

Which is why the Govt have huge issues sending them back. They keep mounting legal challenges until they find some judge sympathetic to their case and win.

The thing that makes sense for the UK to do, given that we have no space, but money, is to give money to help them settle in countries where there is an abundance of space for them to live in.
We are already stretched to breaking point.

Before I'd even opened the thread I was thinking just the same thing.
OK for the privileged ones who won't so much as even realise the difference, as it makes none whatsoever to their lives, in their lovely big paid for houses. In fact it probably helps them as it's someone to employ cheaply to do their shopping, clean their house and drive them around in private vehicles.
Won't affect their private medical care, private schooling for their children or anything.
